Ayurveda Day is celebrated on Dhanvantari Jayanti, which is the 13th day of the dark fortnight in Ashwin. This day usually falls in October or November. The Government of India officially declared Ayurveda Day in 2016 to promote Ayurveda as a traditional system of medicine. The Government of India vide its notification published in Gazette of India, Extra ordinary Part I dated 01st June, 2017, has resolved to celebrate “Ayurveda Day” every year on the auspicious day of ‘Dhanwantari Jayanti – Dhanteras’ since 2016 in Whole of Government approach. This year the 9th Ayurveda day falls on 29th October, 2024. The theme for Ayurveda Day 2024 is :

"Ayurveda innovation for Global Health".

"वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य के लिए आयुर्वेद नवाचार".

CARI is committed to promoting wellness through a comprehensive approach that encompasses research, clinical care, and community engagement initiatives. Our primary goal is to make healthcare accessible to all, ensuring affordability through free or nominal-cost services. We operate from 9 am to 1 pm on regular days, excluding holidays, providing a wide array of healthcare services.
We actively participate in community outreach efforts aimed at raising awareness about healthy lifestyles, environmental concerns, and social issues. Our involvement extends to supporting flagship initiatives of government such as Swachh Bharat and the Nutrition Mission.
